Every project starts from a written proposal listing what is included and a fixed price. That price does not move unless you ask for something outside it, and if you do, we will tell you what it costs before doing it — never afterwards.

A proposal is open for the period stated on it.

A deposit of 50% starts the work. The balance is due at launch. Invoices are issued through Stripe and payable within 14 days.

Work stops if an invoice goes badly overdue, and we will tell you before that happens rather than going quiet.

When the balance is paid, the site is yours: the code, the content, the design, and the analytics. Your domain is registered in your name from the start and we never hold it.

We keep the right to show the work publicly and to describe measured results from it, unless you ask us not to — in which case we will not.

The first twelve months of hosting are included in the build price. After that it is $360 a year to stay with us, or you can take the code and host it anywhere you like at no cost. There is no notice period and nothing to cancel, because there is no subscription.

Hosting covers the site staying up, SSL, and uptime monitoring. It does not include content edits or new work — those are quoted separately.

Content, images, and answers to questions, roughly when we ask for them. The timeline assumes that; if material arrives late the launch moves accordingly, and we will say so at the time rather than at the end.

You confirm you have the right to use anything you send us.

You can stop a project at any point. You pay for the work done to that date and you keep it. We will hand over the files.

If we cannot deliver, you get back anything you paid for work not done.

We build carefully and measure what we ship, but nobody can promise a specific number of enquiries or a search ranking — anyone who does is guessing. What we do promise is the work described in the proposal.

Our liability is limited to the amount you paid us for the project in question.
